My Mumbai Getaway

Hi guys,

It’s been so long. I hope everyone is having an amazing vacation. And everyone is staying hydrated this summers.

It’s been a year I’ve started my Youtube channel(YAY), I am not very regular there, but I hope you guys watch my videos and subscribe.

Coming to today’s post, I’ve recently gone for a getaway for my birthday weekend to Mumbai, India, the city which is close to my heart, which I did not want to vlog, so I’m writing down my experience and link all the hotels I’ve stayed as I have received many dm’s on Instagram asking for them.

We boarded the flight on Friday morning at Kempagowda airport, Blr. And the flight got delayed due to the rains in Mumbai. It was raining heavily when we landed in Mumbai. We went to the mall near the airport just to look around.

We shopped, ate and later went to Andheri East for our Airbnb.

Calvin was our host and the place was way too beautiful. Fell in love with the décor. I loved the architectural design and how creatively the place was done. The place had everything one needs. You wake up to the greens around you. For greenery lovers, the place looks even more beautiful. The vines, the view of the goldmohur, the modern bohemian feel of the place, everything is just perfect. It’s a perfect getaway spot, so cosy and a peaceful corner away from the hassles of the city. This little paradise is a must-try place if you want something near the airport.

We took showers and went to some clubbing on Friday night.

Day 2

We woke up a little early in the morning and went to one of the iconic places in Mumbai, Worli Sealink, Bandra, and clicked pictures. Thanks to Naveen and Akash for clicking amazing shots. Later, went back to our Airbnb, packed everything and went to Colaba, South Mumbai. We had our lunch at Pa-Pa-Ya.

Worli SeaLink

We then checked in to one of the Bombay’s first luxurious hotel, Abode Bombay.

This place was a tranquil haven of design and style with a lot of thoughtful touches. If you are looking for a vintage and bohemian and luxurious stay with everything is taken care of, from amenities to city guide to small tiny detailed things, this is the place to be. The room is very thoughtfully done. The hosts, Nobert and Nilesh were super kinds, humble and super interactive. The ambience is rare you’d find in Mumbai.  Location is great and I loved it being right next to Gateway of India, Colaba Causeway. The common area with many high ceilings, library, display of local art was a lovely space. Loved the safe locker inside the room. The best part of the hotel is its breakfast, which I will discuss later. I think this is one of the best hotels if you were looking for a perfect getaway in a vintage luxurious way.

All in all both of the places are beautifully designed, providing for the photo opportunities at every corner of the place which enriched our stay even more.

Later on, we got freshen up and went to Starbaee for some drinks and Colaba Causeway for some shopping, and roamed around the streets. Then, we went to one of my favourite places, Marine Drive and ended our day. We had food from one of the famous roadside restaurants Bademiya, right in front of our hotel. The food was beyond amazing.

Day 3

We woke up early in the morning to get some early morning shots near Gateway of India, roamed around the city, later had one of the best breakfasts I had in a long time. The buffet breakfast was so yummy. It had a great range of variety between continental and Indian style dishes and was perfect. 100/100! We rested after a happy meal lol. We went to one of the biggest malls, Palladium, spoiled ourselves, got birthday gifts. And headed to the airport. We spent some time having massages and eating at the airport. Landed back in Blr in the evening.

This getaway was amazing. I already miss this place and all the time we had back in there. I hope you liked the post and my little story.

My stay at Infiniti Bay, Goa

Hey Guys,

It’s been too long. How are you all?

If you have been following me on Social media, you’ll know that I’ve been to Goa, a few weeks back. I am writing all my experience at Infiniti Bay, the place where I stayed.

We always look for hotels as their first choice when they hunt for accommodation. Don’t we? But, visiting Goa is something completely different. Hotels though are luxurious but they are confined to the boundaries they draw especially in places like Goa, which is a beach bliss.

I didn’t want to stay in a hotel and restrict myself from having fun, hence I chose this luxurious villa for my stay in Goa this time. Spacious Villa, situated inside the Complex Infiniti Bay Spa Residences. Perfect for a friend’s getaway, a romantic indulgence for your loved one or relaxing weekend with your family. With hotels, there is always time strings attached, but Aliya, our hostess was beyond nice at our convenient check-in and check-out times. I wanted to experience the night garden showers, a rooftop private pool and BBQ grilled night, which is not possible at the hotel.

While some people may be happy to travel hours to reach a secluded luxury escape, others may want easy convenience close to local nightlife and the energy of a crowd.

This villa does satisfy everyone. The one who wants a quiet luxury escape, this is the no.1 place. For the people who want to enjoy beach life, there are a number of beaches around the property with shacks some of them being Bogmalo beach, Velsao beach, Majorda beach. The villa is located just 5 mins away from Goa airport, allowing you to begin your vacation immediately on landing.

Style-wise, this villa makes an honest commitment to bringing local culture and design aesthetics into the design and decor. This incredible villa is fully equipped with modern furniture and all the amenities you could ask for. Your own private Villa & two private Swimming pools, 3 Bedrooms with their own unique views, with attached bathrooms. Flat Screen TV, Large wardrobe with hangers in every room, a Terrace off the bedroom, near to beaches, real luxury right in the middle of things. The villa is perfect for celebrations and family /group visits and they can help you plan them as well.

Large Luxurious Bathrooms with Indoor Garden Showers, attached to each bedroom, Large, spacious, with Shower, Hairdryer, Roca fixtures. Relaxing Sunken bathtub with warm water. Also, Mini Garden in Master Bedroom Bathroom. The very large living area overlooking garden and pool area, WiFi, Surround sound HDTV Music System to keep you entertained throughout, Flat-screen Smart TV with Netflix, Youtube. Watch your favourite sports in the comfort of the villa Sit… Enjoy. The whole villa is centralized air-conditioned with 24×7 Power Backup.

Villas with walled gardens and private pools offer their own close and cosy charm. This villa has three bedrooms with three views, one with the garden view, one with the private pool/jacuzzi view and the other with the entrance garden view, and the living area overlooking the garden and the pool.

Depending on what type of vacation experience you’re looking for, you may want to dine out every meal, or buy up at the local stores and cater for yourself. Is there a decent stovetop for cooking? A dishwashing machine? A good-sized fridge?

This villa has EVERYTHING you need, a very large kitchen with everything you need to design a gourmet feast, top of the line appliances. They also provide Breakfast and Meals on request, home delivery from nearby restaurants. Also, they make sure that you get your daily cuppa 🙂

This Villa can be booked on all the popular sites like or Text messages are sent prior to the arrival, seeking driving directions and other information, were answered immediately.

The neighbourhood is peaceful and cleans away from noise and traffic. And the villa is spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. From Check in to Checkout, Aliya was super helpful when required to assist with places to visit, shop, eat, experience within Goa. The housekeeping staff were available at the premises during the day time and will clean the place as per your convenience.

You obviously need a vehicle to roam around in Goa, right? They got you in that as well. They have a collaboration with a local transport company to provide Self Drive Vehicles( wide range of well-maintained regular and luxury vehicles to choose from ) as well as Chauffeur Driven Vehicles.

Would we stay here again? Definitely. It’s a perfect place for people who desire quiet and luxury hideaway-style accommodations for their holiday. A villa experience is definitely vivid! Maybe I am actually done with staying at hotels.

I made a video showing the entire villa, which you can watch it here.
